Eidyllia (Theokrit 270 a.D.) und Bucolica sind alte hellenistische Hirtensonette. In diesen wird alltäglich Freud und Leid der wachenden Hirten besungen. Sie folgen einem dramatischen Dialog, der in episch-heroisches Versmaß (Hexameter) gesetzt ist. Die "Idyllen" von V.Ergil ist eine
